A state audit questioned Douglas Hooker's thousands of dollars of too-general or unreadable meal receipts, among other things. That audit prompted the General Assembly to cut the ARC's budget by $150,000. Even though Hooker already makes $244,000 per year, he was given a $30,000 bonus for his work, the report says. The state budget cut seems likely to continue.
